MANILA, Philippines --- Overcast skies and rain showers are expected in parts of Luzon and the Visayas on Tuesday due to the effects of the northeast monsoon or "amihan" and the shearline, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa). "Patuloy pa rin ang epekto ng amihan sa malaking bahagi ng Luzon, kaya magiging maulap ang papawirin na may tiyansa ng pag-ulan sa Cagayan Valley, Cordillera at Quezon," said Pagasa weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio.
