DOE: LPG price freeze in Davao de Oro

MANILA, Philippines --- The Department of Energy (DOE) said on Wednesday that a price freeze on liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and kerosene products is in effect in Davao de Oro, which declared a state of calamity on Sunday due to weather disturbances. According to the DOE, a price freeze will be imposed for LPG tanks 11 kilograms and below, as well as kerosene products over the for 15 days or until February 3. "A State of Calamity (SOC) was raised in the whole province of Davao de Oro due to flooding/heavy rainfall/rains caused by the "Shear Line Weather System", the DOE said in its advisory.
