MANILA, Philippines --- A 20-year-old man wanted for frustrated murder was arrested in Manila on Tuesday afternoon. The Manila Police District (MPD) said Pandacan Police Station operatives were able to track and capture suspect Rafael Veras in Barangay 846, Zone 92 in Pandacan at around 1 p.m. The police did not detail the circumstances of his case but revealed that his apprehension stemmed from an arrest warrant issued by Presiding Judge Delight Aissa Salvador of Manila Regional Trial Court, Branch 29, dated January 19, 2024. The case against him has a recommended bail of P200,000.
