MANILA, Philippines --- Another suspected New People'sAemy (NPA) rebel died following an encounter with government forces forces in an Agusan del Norte, the Philippine Army said on Thursday. The Army said another body was recovered in Sitio Calaitan, Brgy Simbalan, Buenavista after a 10-minute firefight with the 402nd Infantry Brigade last Tuesday. "The operating troops together with K9 units followed the traces of the fleeing enemy and this resulted in the recovery of two cadavers," the Army said in a statement.
