Carlos Yulo finishes fourth in floor exercise at gymnastics worlds

MANILA, Philippines---Carlos Yulo couldn't finish on the podium in the 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Antwerp, Belgium on Saturday night (Manila time). Yulo reached the final of the floor exercise--where he was once a world champion--but came up short of the bronze medal, finishing fourth. The 23-year-old gymnast tallied 14.500 points in the last phase just behind Kazakhstan's Milad Karini, who finished with 14.600 points for the bronze. Artem Dolgopyat of Israel finished with the gold medal after finishing with 14.866 while Kazuki Minami brought Japan a silver after 14.666 markers.
