HANGZHOU, China---Janry Ubas sought for the lucky jump that he badly needed throughout and yet it never came. Southeast Asia's long-jump king leaped way short of bagging a medal in the 19th Asian Games, ending up seventh in his pet event on Sunday night at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Centre Stadium. Ubas registered a best attempt of 7.80 meters on his sixth and final try, but it wasn't enough for the Filipino record-holder to reach the podium.
