‘Shabu’ worth P10M found in Quezon fast-food chain toilet

LUCENA CITY --- More than P10 million worth of "shabu" (crystal meth) was discovered late Thursday inside the toilet of a fast-food branch in Candelaria town in Quezon province. Colonel Ledon Monte, Quezon police chief, said in a report on Friday, Aug. 11, that the service crew of "Mang Inasal" located in the town proper, informed the local police at 10:20 p.m. that they found a pack of white crystalline substance in a trash bin inside the customer's toilet. Responding policemen recovered one sealed plastic bag containing 511.5 grams of alleged shabu with an estimated Dangerous Drug Board value of P3,478,200.
