Suspect in slay of Pakistani in Bataan falls
BALANGA CITY, Bataan --- Police in this province arrested on Thursday, Aug. 10, the suspect in the killing of a Pakistani four months ago. Colonel Palmer Tria, Bataan police director, identified the suspect as Angelo Perez, 39, a resident of Dinalupihan town The suspect has another pending arrest warrant in San Fernando City in nearby Pampanga province. Perez yielded a handgun and a sachet of "shabu" (crystal meth) when arrested at his hideout in Barangay Mt. View, Mariveles town. Police said Perez shot to death Imran Akhtar, 44, a businessman, in a private resort in Dinalupihan on May 23. The suspect was detained at the Camp Tolentino police headquarters.
