Korean, Filipino arrested for selling P1.6M worth of unregistered food products in Cavite

MANILA, Philippines --- Police arrested one Korean national and one Filipino for allegedly selling non-certified imported food products in the province of Cavite, said the Philippine National Police (PNP) on Friday. According to the PNP in a statement, the suspects were arrested during an entrapment operation by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in an establishment in Paliparan-Sabutan Road, Silang, Cavite, on Wednesday, June 21. The suspects were identified as Yong Cheol Baek, the establishment's owner; and Jennelyn Caete Arnado, the operation manager.
