Hot, humid Monday with scattered rain as LPA exits PAR

MANILA, Philippines --- Hot and humid weather with scattered rain will prevail in most parts of the country on Monday after a low-pressure area (LPA) exited the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR), according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa). According to state weather specialist Daniel James Villamil, the LPA, which was last monitored 410 kilometers northeast of Pagasa Island, Palawan, finally exited the PAR at 2 a.m. on Monday.
