SEA Games 2023: Jerard Jacinto wins second swimming medal for PH

MANILA, Philippines---Jerard Jacinto delivered his second medal in swimming for the Philippines in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games at Morodok Techo National Stadium: Aquatic Center on Sunday. After notching bronze in the men's 100 meter backstroke on Saturday, Jacinto rode his momentum in the 50m backstroke event and clocked in at 25.56 seconds for the silver medal. Gede Siman Sudartawa of Indonesia took home the gold with a 25.16-second finish. Teia Salvino Salvino also salvaged a podium finish with her 28.99-second swim in the women's 50m backstroke event to end up with the bronze medal.
