For actor Xian Lim, there's nothing more believable than doing things the right way as faking it 'til you make it is something that can be harmful in the long run. In a video that he posted on his Instagram page, Lim said he has strong opposition to the expression "Fake it 'til you make it," as thismindset may be harmful in the long run. "They say, 'Fake it 'til you make it.' We say, 'Face it 'til you ace it,'" he said.
