LEGAZPI CITY --- Classes in the Bicol provinces, except Masbate, were suspended on Tuesday afternoon, April 11, due to the threat of Tropical Depression "Amang" which was forecast to bring heavy to intense rains until Thursday evening. In an advisory, Albay Governor Edcel Greco Lagman said classes in pre-schools and elementary, private and public, are suspended starting 1 p.m. Lagman said all local disaster operation centers were advised to conduct monitoring and implement localized evacuation in areas exposed to storm surge, flood, lahar, flash flood, and landslide.
