MANILA, Philippines-The Philippine women's football team closed in on a spot in the second round of the Olympic Qualifying Tournament after rolling to an 8-0 rout of host Tajikistan on Saturday at Hisor Central Stadium. Chandler McDaniel capped off the onslaught with a brace in the second half as the Filipinas produced another win to stay on top of Group B at six points with a game left in the competition. Sofia Harrison, Tahnai Annis, Carleigh Frilles, Quinley Quezada, Meryl Serrano and Maya Alcantara accounted for the six goals the Philippines scored in the first half.
