2 Catanduanes fishermen reported missing found safe in Albay

    VIRAC, Catanduanes-- The two fishermen from Bato, Catanduanes who were earlier reported missing at sea on Friday evening, were found safe on Saturday morning, March 11, in Rapu-Rapu island in Albay. The Bato Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (LDRRMO) said that Ramir Tapit, 60, and Ramir Palomer, 63, both residents of Barangay (village) Binanuahan in Bato were found in Barangay Banosawan, Rapu-Rapu. Tapit and Palomer went fishing at 4 a.m. Friday together with other fishermen on a banca, an earlier report said.
