Sugar imports to ‘sabotage’ local industry, says Makabayan solon

MANILA, Philippines --- Gabriela Women's Party Rep. Arlene D. Brosas has called out the government for greenlighting the importation of 440,000 metric tons of refined sugar as she argued that the move will only "sabotage the local sugar industry."
