DOH: Weekly COVID-19 infections down to 1,012; no severe, critical cases

MANILA, Philippines --- A total of 1,012 new CO(VID-19 infections were registered by the Department of Health (DOH) from Jan. 30 to Feb. 5, lower than the 1,206 cases recorded the previous week. Based on the DOH's latest weekly COVID-19 bulletin, the total infections translated to a daily average of 145, which is 16 percent lower than the previous 172 daily average. None of the new cases were also tagged as critical or severe, further bringing down the number of active critical or severe COVID-19 admissions to 388.
