65 new COVID-19 cases among Filipinos abroad, 7 more deaths reported – DFA

MANILA, Philippines --- The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Thursday reported 65 new coronavirus infections among overseas Filipinos, bringing the total number of cases to 9,692. Figures released by the DFA showed that of the total number of cases, 3,253 patients remain under treatment while 5,737 have already recovered or discharged from the hospital. The DFA also reported seven new fatalities. The death toll now stands at 702. "The total number of countries and regions with confirmed cases among Filipinos is 72, with a new report from an additional country in Asia and the Pacific," the DFA added.
