Mumbai's first underground metro route 'line 3' opens for public today
Mumbai's first underground metro, the Aqua Line, will open from October 7. This line runs between Bandra-Kurla Complex and Aarey. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated it and introduced the MetroConnect3 app. The project cost ₹14,120 crore. Modi also laid the foundation stone for Thane Integral Ring Metro Rail Project costing ₹12,200 crore.
