Conman impersonating MP’s PA cheats SoBo Bademiya restaurant owner of Rs 11 lakh
Jamal Shaikh, owner of Bademiya restaurant in Mumbai, was defrauded of Rs 11 lakh by Suraj Kalav, who posed as the personal assistant to an MP. Kalav promised Shaikh's daughter admission to Government Law College and also ordered food worth Rs 2 lakh, which he never paid for. Kalav has been arrested and police ruled out any politician's involvement.
