Builder in Navi Mumbai loses Rs 60 lakh to cyber fraudster
A builder from Navi Mumbai was duped of Rs 60.6 lakh by a cyber fraudster who impersonated him. The fraudster contacted the builder's office, obtained the accountant's phone number, and instructed him to transfer the money. The accountant transferred the amount without verifying the instructions. The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
