A sub-inspector of Delhi Police died by allegedly shooting himself with a pistol at his flat in east Delhi. The deceased has been identified as K Ganesh, a resident of Telangana who was currently posted at the Madhur Vihar police station here. The incident occurred when the family members of the sub-inspector called the police, stating that he was not responding to their calls. Preliminary investigations suggest that the sub-inspector took his own life using the firearm. No suicide note has been found at the location, and the investigation is ongoing.
