Delhi: Crooks target food delivery app users, buy grocery items with stolen money
A 26-year-old businesswoman lost Rs 97,000 after an automated call from a food delivery platform. An elaborate con by a former delivery boy and his accomplice was uncovered. They used IVR to extract account information and transferred money using victims' details. The profits were divided after selling grocery items in local markets.
