Certain gates at eight Delhi Metro stations were temporarily closed in response to the farmers' march towards the national capital. However, these stations remain open and passengers can use alternative gates. The closure is part of security arrangements advised by the police. Prominent stations like Rajiv Chowk, Mandi House, Central Secretariat, Patel Chowk, Udyog Bhawan, Janpath, Barakhamba Road, and Khan Market are affected. The measure aims to ensure the safety and security of commuters. To prevent the protesters from entering the city, police and paramilitary personnel are deployed at the capital's borders.
