Farmers protest: Security beefed up at Delhi borders

Security has been heightened in the national capital, particularly on the Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border, due to a large protest by farmers. Traffic arrangements have been put in place, and commuters are advised to avoid certain roads. Significant number of security forces, including paramilitary forces, have been deployed to maintain law and order. Pickets and barricades have been set up on the border areas. Delhi Traffic Police warns of heavy traffic on routes connected to Soniya Vihar, DND, Chilla, Gazipur, Sabhapur, Apsara, and Loni borders. Gautam Buddh Nagar Police imposes CrPC section 144 in preparation for farmers' protest in Noida and Greater Noida.
