IIT-Bombay recently inaugurated a state-of-the-art Design Thinking Studio at its IDC School of Design. The studio, which aims to provide a unique learning space to students, is well-equipped with 3D printers, laser-cutting machines, hand tools, workbenches and more and can accommodate up to 180 students. Nishant Sharma, the main instructor for the course, highlighted the state-of-the-art facilities and elaborated on the pedagogy of collaborative hands-on teaching, emphasising its effectiveness in teaching many students.
