2 nominated seats in Rajya Sabha vacant for over 20 months
Vacancy in Rajya Sabha's Upper House for more than 20 months surprises as government could have easily filled two seats. Nominated members with special knowledge or practical experience in literature, science, art, and social service are nominated by the President. Five of the 10 current nominated MPs have joined the BJP.
