An evening dedicated to Turkish music and dance
The Konya Turkish Sufi Music Ensemble performed the ceremony of the Whirling Dervishes, also known as Sema, at the India Habitat Centre. The ceremony, started by Mevlana Celaleddin-i Rumi in the 13th century, was organised in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey, the Indian Council of Cultural Relations, and the Metropolitan Municipality of Konya.
