CP smog tower resumes functioning, Rai seeks report on payments, arrears
The smog tower at Baba Kharak Singh Marg in Delhi was made operational after workers locked it due to non-payment of wages. Delhi's environment minister has directed the pollution control committee to submit a report on the issue. The tower, built at a cost of Rs 22.9 crore, helps clean the air quality and was able to reduce PM2.5 by 48% and 13% within 20 and 400 meters, respectively.
