The Cutchi Memon Jamat, located on Kambekar Street off Mohammed Ali Road, celebrates its centenary with a renovated community hall. The Cutchi Memons have a rich history and have contributed to the community through various institutions such as Minara Masjid, Zakariya Masjid, Jaffer Suleiman, and Cummo Seth. The younger generation is branching out into professions like medicine, law, chartered accountancy, and engineering. Notable figures like Haji Karim Mohammed Suleman, Mohammed Haji Saboo Siddik, and Abubaker Dadani have made significant contributions. The Jamat aims to set up a coaching centre for UPSC candidates to produce IAS and IPS officers among the Cutchi Memons.
