AIIMS Delhi achieved a significant medical milestone by successfully performing an awake craniotomy on a five-year-old girl, utilizing the Conscious Sedation technique for a left perisylvian intraaxial brain tumor. Notably, she became the youngest person globally to undergo this innovative procedure. The young patient's remarkable cooperation and stable postoperative condition underscore the success of the surgery.
