Delhiites continue to shiver in cold day conditions as severe cold day conditions were witnessed in some areas of the capital. The day was gloomy with no sun as an elevated fog layer covered the skies, causing a cooling effect during the daytime. The same fog layer caused a rise in the minimum temperature. The India Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for Saturday and Sunday due to expected cold day conditions coupled with moderate to dense fog. The air quality improved within the very poor category on Saturday.
