This article discusses the case of Mukesh Sonkar, a teenager from Gonda district, Uttar Pradesh, who suffered from chronic weakness and low haemoglobin levels. After his brother shared his condition with his employers in Mumbai, doctors discovered that Mukesh had a 25cm long intestinal lipoma, a rare and unusually large benign fat tumour. The lipoma was causing malnutrition and blood loss, leading to his weakness. Mukesh underwent a successful operation to remove the lipoma, and his health has significantly improved.
