AAP nominates DCW chief Swati Maliwal for Rajya Sabha
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has decided to send Swati Maliwal, Chairperson of Delhi Commission for Women, to the Rajya Sabha. ND Gupta and Sanjay Singh have also been re-nominated. The AAP holds a majority in the Delhi Legislative Assembly, increasing their chances of winning all three seats. The Delhi Election Commission has started preparations for the elections, scheduled for January 19.
