MSEDCL supplies electricity to 2,395 tribal homes in Maharashtra in 12 days
The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has achieved a significant milestone by supplying electricity to vulnerable tribal communities in remote areas of the state within just 12 days. Under the Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan scheme, initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the utility provided electricity to 2,395 homes of tribal families in various districts. Deputy Chief Minister and Energy Minister Devendra Fadnavis prioritized the scheme's implementation, which began on November 15, 2023.
