Talks fail with CM Shinde, aanganwadi strike to continue in Maharashtra

The indefinite strike by aanganwadi workers will continue as their talks with CM Eknath Shinde on increasing wages and granting benefits failed on Wednesday. The Maharashtra State Anganwadi Staff Action Committee, representing seven aanganwadi unions, spearheaded the agitation. Despite discussions on pending issues other than a remuneration hike, the negotiations were fruitless. The committee announced the decision to continue the strike and intensify the agitation at Azad Maidan.
