Mind the gap: Delhi Metro reminds commuters obstruction of coach gates will cost you
A woman passenger at Guru Dronacharya station shoved her bag in the metro train doors to reopen them. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation complained to police about the obstruction caused. DMRC found that passengers trying to prevent the doors from closing has become a daily occurrence. Obstruction of the coach gates is an offence punishable with imprisonment or a fine. DMRC is justified in imposing a penalty on such travellers.
