Vegetable vendors help BMC deep-clean Dadar

The BMC involves vegetable vendors in a deep cleaning drive in Dadar (West) for the first time. Vendors are asked to use tarpaulin to prevent mud from vegetables falling on the road. Around 60 vendors actively participate in the cleaning exercise. The BMC aims to create awareness among citizens and stakeholders about responsible business activities and environmental protection. Use of tarpaulin is necessary as vendors sort and wash vegetables on the streets, leaving a grimy layer. The BMC fines vendors for throwing waste on the Keshavsut bridge.
