Anti-corruption activist Anjali Damania revealed that the family of food and civil supplies minister Chhagan Bhujbal settled their dues worth Rs 8.4 crores to an elderly Christian woman, Doreen Fernandes. The dues were settled by Parvesh Construction, which belongs to Chhagan Bhujbal's nephew Sameer Bhujbal. This payment brings relief to the 78-year old mother and her three autistic children. Damania thanked NCP MP Supriya Sule, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for their assistance in making the Bhujbal family pay their dues.
