ED attaches more assets of a builder who sold slum flats to celebrities

Enforcement Directorate (ED) provisionally attached properties worth Rs 6.93 crore of builder Shailesh Savla in a money laundering case related to the rehabilitation of slum dwellers. The attached properties include a residential flat on Victorian Anchor building at Parel and fixed deposit of Savla and his wife Jayshree. The case involves irregularities in allotment of residential accommodation/shops under the Juhu Taj Slum Rehabilitation Scheme using forged documents by Kunal Builders & Developers, owned by Shailesh Savla.
