Blurred vision: Eight Delhi-bound flights diverted, over 60 delayed

Flight operations at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi were affected as visibility dropped to zero meters, leading to the diversion of eight Delhi-bound flights to Jaipur and Ahmedabad. Over 60 flights were also delayed. The India Meteorological Department reported zero visibility at the airport from 5.30am to 9.30am, resulting in the implementation of CAT-IIIB measures. However, conditions improved from 10am. The airport initiated low visibility procedures whenever visibility dipped below 800 meters, with CAT-III pilots being able to land even at 50 meters of visibility.
