Rampur is celebrating the 250th anniversary of the Raza Library, a globally acclaimed institution. The library, housed in the Hamid Manzil, is known for its collection of 17,000 rare manuscripts in various languages, 83,000 books, 5,000 miniature paintings, and 3,000 specimens of Islamic calligraphy. The year-long celebration plan includes lectures, seminars, scholars' meetings, book festivals, and courses on manuscriptology, calligraphy, and languages. Sanam Ali Khan, a great-granddaughter of Hamid Ali Khan, the ninth Nawab of Rampur, feels privileged to continue her family's work at the library.
