1,000 trains to run from different parts of country to Ayodhya in first 100 days of Ram temple inauguration

Indian Railways plans to run 1,000 trains to Ayodhya for the inauguration of Ram Mandir. Trains will start operating from January 19, ahead of the inauguration ceremony. The temple will be open to the public from January 23 after the consecration of Lord Sri Ram's idol. Ayodhya will be connected to various cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Kolkata, Nagpur, Lucknow, and Jammu. The Ayodhya station has been revamped to handle the high footfall. IRCTC will provide round-the-clock catering services during the pilgrimage. A new attraction is the electric catamaran ride on Saryu river.
