Mira Road murder: FSL test finds no poison in remains

Chemical analysis of Saraswati Vaidya's remains did not find poison, contradicting the preliminary autopsy report. Manoj Sane, Vaidya's live-in partner, was charged with murder for allegedly forcing her to consume pesticide. Police have sent the analysis report to J.J. Hospital for further examination. Although no poison was found in the remains, samples from the buckets used to store the body parts were collected. The pesticide bottle seized from the flat and the shopkeeper have been included as evidence. Sane, who claims Vaidya died by suicide, has been in Thane jail since his arrest. Experts suggested lie detector and brain mapping tests but non-invasive tests on Sane showed mental stability. Sane's lawyer is awaiting the chemical analysis report.
