Mumbai Police's crime branch arrested a 22-year-old man, Mazhar Shakir, from Madhya Pradesh in connection with the abduction of a Mumbai-based builder by a gang for a ransom of Rs 10 crore last month. The accused, also known as Shanu Shah, was apprehended from Dhar. The builder was abducted from the Mazgaon area and held captive in suburban Govandi. The gang demanded Rs 10 crore for his safe release. So far, a total of six individuals have been arrested in this case, including Iliyas Bachkana, the gangster.
