Rajasthan Assembly elections: 71.74 pc voter turnout recorded with stray incidents of violence

The polling for the Rajasthan Assembly elections concluded with over 70 per cent voter turnout. The state recorded a polling percentage of 71.74 per cent, slightly lower than the previous election's turnout of 74.06 per cent. The highest voter turnout was observed in Tijara with 85.15 per cent, while Tonk recorded 68.55 per cent. Key constituencies include Sardarpura, Jhalarapatan, Tonk, Nathdwara, Jhunjhunu, Jhotwara, and Churu. Rebel candidates from BJP and Congress are still in the fray, with around 45 of them competing in the elections.
