No progress since Thursday, drilling to resume shortly: NDMA on Silkyara tunnel rescue ops
Lt Gen (retd) Syed Ata Hasnain, an NDMA member, emphasized that every available resource is being utilized to ensure the rescue of the trapped workers. Despite no progress in moving the pipe through the tunnel debris since Thursday, repair work is underway to address the obstacles. Approximately 15 meters of drilling remains to reach the stranded workers.
