On the eve of polling in Rajasthan, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot played the 'son of the soil' card, urging people to vote for him as a 'Rajasthani' over two 'Gujaratis' (Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah). Gehlot criticized the BJP for inciting emotions of Gujaratis during the Gujarat assembly elections.
