NIA files case against designated terrorist GS Pannun for threatening Air India passengers

The founder of pro-Khalistan group Sikhs For Justice (SFJ), Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, has been booked by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in India. This comes after Pannun issued threats to passengers flying with Air India in a video. The case has been filed under the Indian Penal Code and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. Pannun had also threatened to disrupt the ICC World Cup final between India and Australia. He has been on the NIA's radar since 2019 and was declared a "Proclaimed Offender" in 2021.
