Vijay Pehelwan, a national level weightlifting champion-turned-gangster, has been arrested by Delhi Police's Crime Branch after being on the run since 2018. Pehelwan was allegedly involved in an abduction-cum-murder case in 2011 and 19 other heinous crimes. He had changed his looks and his name to Vikram Singh while on the run. Pehelwan was found running an extortion ring from a farmhouse in Delhi. He had been hiding in different states and was running a property business in Jabalpur. His two lawyer sons were handling his criminal cases.
